Hi David Sounds like u have yr 2000 Datex book ( NZ Investment Year Book)... yr2001 book has been released ,ring Access Brokerage ph 0800734644 to get a copy. Latest Datex book says..."" Telecom's growth strategy has caused a revision of the distrubution policy from 2000-2001 with the intention to reduce future distributions to approx 50% of after-tax profits. ""Interim Div 10cps And guess what .. when that news broke last year the div was halved and so was the share price..so much for the experts saying that div doesnt govern shareprice, fundamentals do...Be interesting to see what the shareprice is in a couple of years as alot of people think this share is now undervalued. Disc;- Never held TEL but am watching it with interest.
