I would guess that they have failed to pay their share registry fees and that's why the registry are are not processing any more transfers. The NZSE have then de-listed them as obviously there can be no market in the shares if transfers cannot be recorded. When they pay the outstanding fees, and also produce an Annual Report, then the shares can be re-listed. Whatever, I reckon their end is not far away. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John" <cu@Home.co.nz> To: <sharechat@sharechat.co.nz> Sent: Thursday, May 17, 2001 11:07 AM Subject: [sharechat] Savoy (is this the end) > > The subject really reflects my question, does the announcement this morning > by Savoy mean that they are out of business and all shareholders are out of > pocket.? > > John > (disc hold Savoy) > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- > http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- > To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at > http://www.sharechat.co.nz/forum.shtml. > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/forum.shtml.
