Note that these guys aren't the only ones with a 2001 patent for an
artificial heart device.

Also there are many other US patents on artificial hearts. (For your own
searches try http://www.delphion.com/boolquery ).  Therefore I wouldn't put
too much weight on them holding a patent when considering buying the share.
