Re: Re: [sharechat] Day and New Economy Traders .....
"There is no doubt that 1999/2000 bred and created a new generation of
suckers - who in many cases have lost not only their shirts but more
important, their pride as well. Not too many of those individuals would now
admit to ever being a trader now of course. "
I admit to being a trader - have been off and on for 20 years :-)
I have loved and lost and loved again, lost again and so on and so on.(Its
the nature of the game) and dare I say it the best way to learn the
business. The trading business is one of handling risk which I am sure you
will agree is a good life skill. Pride?! or shirt?! what a decision.
Personally I would take the shirt every time:-) Pride is such a
destructive emotion.
The point of my post was that sharechat, IMHO has become a bit boring,
without the sparkle that those bright sparks brought to this forum.
Its all about broadening ones outlook rather than being politically correct
and not upsetting people (ie rubbing salt in the wounds ;-(
Have a happy day and look at the opportunities. Some over selling is in
progress right now!
