If you are after total shareholder returns LEK Consulting have them for most NZ and Australian companies on their site under publications. Returns shown for the last 10 years. 5 years etc. Might save you a lot of time. Should find them here -

Beta values for a  lot of NZ companies are listed by Pricewaterhousecooper as part of the WACC calculations which they put on their web site
