There has been an upwards movement of prices in resource stocks on the
Australian Exchange over the last few weeks. With the north American
economy slowing, Japan not really firing and the European Union doing OK, where
is the demand for resources? I understand that world stock
levels of selected non ferrous resources have been running down for some
time and the forward sales prices are starting to rise. Diamond
miners too seem to be in demand.
Is this upwards movement sustainable? Any comments.
