The 25 cps may look low but needs to be viewed in context - the share price being driven up from around 22 cents on the usual 3 monthly cycle of takeover speculation to 28 cents and SKC having to assume nearly $100m of debt. SKC sharp share price drop yesterday shows institutions not happy with SKC investing outside of its core activity and investing such a large amount of $ in a declining business - all up nearly $150m!

Unlikely a third party will make a counter-bid. Peter Francis has been trying to sell his stake now for quite a while according to the newspapers as far back as a year ago and must have tried just about everbody in the market.

Dis - had FOR shares but fortunately sold during Ihug merger farce at $1.00!
