Peter,
Further to my early morning's post,
LAC announced that they already have completed the placement of
16 mill. shares @ $A 12.10.
This was well above the $11.80 they wanted and
signifies the inherent strength of the company: < www.lang.com.au >
ENE's placement referred to
earlier was followed by a share price recovery and this
can also apply to LAC and
LACO.
The not underwritten 1:8 cash issue will
now become a non event, this time @ $A 10 to shareholders. The
rights will start trading early March.
There won't be any giveaways here: It is likely
that news of another expansion will come in the meantime; this could have
the effect of raising the price of LAC, LACO, LACPA
and the rights!
Some LACO holders may convert to
shares. This will reduce the supply of LACO and supports
its price.
We can only admire the modus
operandi and timing of
LAC!
It started as an investment
company and therefore has a strong entrepreneurial basis.
They always seem to be doing something to enhance
the share price!
LAC is more than just another
infrastructure company!
Cheers,
Gerry
