Re. your "Being bullish", I think that this would only apply to LACO and CLH ( subject to the usual disclaimer ).

 

My references to AFF were dated: Nov 4, 5, 22 and Dec 7.

The Nov 4 note made a reference to me recommending the stock early Jan 2000, when it was 32 cents.

 

I also said that it would be difficult to predict profits and that their announcement would be on Nov 15.

 

The Nov 5 note again noted the forthcoming announcement.

Ditto the note of Nov.22, while the Dec 7 correspondence- written after the announcement-mentions that one should pay 42-44 cents till more info. was forthcoming.( last parag.).

 

I also mentioned that I was relying on a 2cents div.

 

On Dec 19, AFF announced that they would rebuilt their works at Wanganui at a cost of $25 mill.in 2002. That could put some or all of a prospective dividend in doubt, perhaps. I really don't know.

 

The Richmond listing is to occur before long as well.

AFF has been particularly active but the setting up of sales offices will have cost some money.

 

The annual meeting will be on Feb. 21 and we shall hear more! In the meantime I can't give you any advice on AFF.
