Thanks for posting this link Ben. It's interesting that The Australian said:

".....with sources indicating NTT DoCoMo has pulled out of the race, leaving Telecom Corp of New Zealand in the lurch."

This is in contradiction to a report on Bloomberg TV yesterday which, although also noting that NTT DoCoMo was pulling out, reported that Telecom NZ had the backing of its bankers to continue alone with the bid.

I wonder who's right?
