If you wish to send tabulated info in an email and achieve good layout, I suggest:

Using an HTML table. Most email programs that do HTML will have this feature. Also Excel spreadsheets can be saved as HTML and pasted into your email.

If you have collated you info in a spreadsheet, save it as a CSV (comma separated value) file, and attach it to your email This will preserve the info in the appropriate cells. A drawback is that formatting is lost, but on the other hand almost all spreadsheet programs will open CSV files.
