Rajesh,

I'm afraid I have very little knowledge of tax and the like but I'll take a
poke at it. Advantage will be writing off goodwill rather than getting paid
for any. I guess this will come off their profits and therefore they will
pay less tax than they would have had they not written the goodwill off.
