[sharechat] ASX SEATS System

Could someone who knows please help me out. The ASX seems to work on a
sponsorship system, your broker can sponsor you or the company can sponsor
your holding? Is this right and what is the deal if you broke through a
broker who doesn't sponsor people? Does the company you hold shares in take
up the role and sponsor your holding? What if you change brokers?
It seems so much more complex then the FASTER system. But I suppose that we
will have to take it on when/if we merge.
