Looks like the
market has reacted sensibly to the
latest Frucor news. The company has achieved
much since listing
and despite slightly lower than expected sales in
the uk is performing
well.
Distribution is at the heart of their problem. Im confident they will be
able
to overcome these problems, having a great product
will help.
It was bound to be tricky entering a market like
the uk, at least they
now have their foot in the door and should be able
to achieve good
growth .
The company set itself a tough forecast for the year in its
prospectus.
To still be in with a shout of meeting those
forecasts shows the company
is moving forward well. The percentage
increase in revenue and earnings etc
over the last year or so is huge, this company is
growing so fast
that its not suprising they have some distribution
problems.
The initial
apprehension when the company first listed was that the
company relied too much on V and that, that energy
drinks were just a fad.
Six months on and the energy drink market is
growing all the time, and it
increasingly looks like energy drinks are
here to stay.
All up i would say that the company
has performed well during its first
six months of listing
