Napoleon Bonaparte was once asked which personal quality he most admired in his generals.

His reply was that he most admired the ones who were lucky.

One of the directors seeking re-election at the annual general meeting is Michael John Andrews. The biographical details enclosed in the notice of meeting tell us that Mr. Andrews is the Chief Executive Officer and has been a director since 1990.

As your pen is poised over the re-election of directors portion of the proxy form you may wish to ponder whether Mr. Andrews tenure as a director has been lucky.
