"I don't think anyone would
disagree that FEG was the jewel in the crown, and most likely to be
sold. That isn't the point.
Please explain for us all Dr Deanes
sincere comments over the past months that any action, and delay in
action, was to ensure the absolute best result
for all shareholders. I suggest there were more than
enough carrots dangled by Dr Deane, a supposedly respected business
figure, to suggest that the end results were going to be positive
for all FLC shareholders, not just FEG ones."
What makes
you think that this is not the best result? To be fair to Dr Deane
he has really pushed this along since he was appointed as Chairman.
What would you have done?
Is there one happy FLB or FFS
shareholder out there? Me thinks not!
Pobably not but the
expectations were unrealistic perhaps inflamed by the FLP
sale. The numbers bandied around for Forests
were never going to be achieved.
And how many senior FLC execs have
exited the two dogs for Energy in recent times I
wonder?
None that I know of.
People would rather be a senior executive in a listed company than a
middle manager in a small subsidiary of a mega multinational like
Shell. The exodus from FEG will start now
An interesting day,time for
bed
