Hi All In total agreement with Hugh. Is there an economic model game on the net? Played in one at Waikato Univ may years ago ,sharpens up your economic theory. Before I commit my 2 cents worth , I would like to know if anything I say works . I suspect that it is not the economic models that the Reserve bank/Treasury use that are at fault.More likely the inaccurate and out of date data the models use, The amount of times the Dept of Statistics have revised their results after release is a worry. Perhaps we should be criticising these faceless public servants in the back room of power.
