Re: [sharechat] AQL-Whats next???
Take one of the biggest(?)losing shares this year to date, sell off its
losing assets, pay all debtors, have some cash and a new Company shell name
to do whatever with, buy the biggest(?)losing Sports Team in the Country
(WARRIORS), combine them together and list them on the NZSE as a NZ first.
Good entrepreneurship - test the NZ Market. NZ is a sports mad nation (not
so good at it much lately) however if above was true how would market react.
Success would need to be based on game results - weekend wins would push
price up and vice versa. Warriors suffer from a lack of backing finance and
good management - now that TAINUI are gone and if EW makes this happen then
finance and management would not be a problem. Good players could be brought
in to boost player depth. Even if a percentage of the Warriors were floated
- there would be investors willing to invest or is an investment in a Sports
team done at the TAB?
The above is not factual - just my opinion based on EW being mentioned as a
canditate to buy the Warriors.
