[sharechat] World Economic Forum

On the television news last week there were great visuals about protesters and policemen outside the World Economic Forum in Melbourne.

What the T V news never explained was, why were the suits meeting in Melbourne, and why were the scruffs outside so determined to prevent them meeting?

In today's Christchurch Press there is a reprint of an article first published in the Melbourne Age which considers the philosophical arguments of the suits inside, and the scruffs outside.

Since the issues raised have implications for us all, I recommend that those Sharechatters who have access to the Press read this article while they have their morning coffee.
