Also be aware of the competition that results from "Keep em at home" policies.. This activity is being actively promoted by the various funding agencies, who provide basic services such as dressings, Cleaning, Nutritional overview, - all at a very much reduced cost.- to the taxpayer. Also be aware of the tendency of families to resist the dissipation of Seniors funds with a view to a forthcoming inheritance. There are a lot of elderly people battling on in valuable, run-down , but freehold family homes. It is quite astonishing to see how quickly after a death, one sees the emergence of a fine new Townhouse development !! We should weep for the twists and turns of Human Nature and family dynamics !
