My thoughts on what Telecom could be up too for the next year or so......

Telecom are currently playing a good PR game as to the benefits for NZers of 
spliting and listing XTRA on the Nasdaq. This PR game is to "sell" the idea 
to the govt and the citizens so they can get round the kiwishare concept. 
Once the approval has been given, to split up the company for " the benefit 
of all New Zealanders" E-Ventures, (remember Roderick, Craig, Stephen and 
co), will make a play at the most profitable parts of Telecom, i.e.. Xtra, 
Cable, Satelite. Then they will sell them off to BSkyB,Ihug, Force, 
AQL?????? for a tidy profit and leave the govt to manage the mess of the 
national/regional phone lines. Remember there is no growth in this dept and 
the prices are dropping from the increased??? competition in the market 
place. Timeframe for this to occur would be in the vicintiy of 1 year. 
Company may not be E-Ventures, but it offers good logic as Roderick has 
cruised away and left the mighty ship to sink under the guise of someone 
that probably wasn't quite at the right skill or knowledge level....Thanks
