Two things that Sir Ron and his merry men have in abundance are patience and
persistence. I  would rather follow Sir Ron than EW.  It will be interesting
if there is any substance to the rumour re GPG and FLB; this would be a
classic Brierly play, buy it and break it up. Winstone Wallboards,
PlaceMakers (gulp!), the concrete and aggregates division, Fletcher
Construction, Fletcher Challenge Properties, the steel companies and
Fletcher Wood Panels would all be attractive to diverse overseas potential
owners.
