RE: [sharechat] Hellaby Holdings

Hi Graeme,
I like their low p/e. Their technology investments don't get a lot of press
but seem interesting.
There was a small article in the one of the Wellington papers earlier this
week about Total Metering; presently 12% owned by Hellaby, possibly
increasing to 30% if some convertible notes do convert to shares. Further
share options, if exercised, will increase the holding to 42%.
Visit TM's web site/s.

Yes, we like Hellabys. They diversify in some strange
directions sometimes
though - Hannahs etc. They recently dabbled in some hi-tech
stock (Teletrac,
Total Metering) , which didn't cause much interest. McEwan
used to rate them
(but I don't know what his current view is). They pay a
reasonable dividend.
Hope some more views are posted. Regards Graeme
