It certainly makes me suspicious.

 

However on the bright side, I bought them a month or two ago when they were 31c, so the big question is where this thing is going to level off. 

 

Things seem to have settled at .36c for the last 20 minutes, but the buying certainly hasn't stopped:

EPH up another 3c this morning to 36c. A 9% gain on good volume. 

24 hour return to 10:10am = 38%.

Pending a public announcement that could be viewed "positively" by the market the recent activity in EPH shows remarkable timing on behalf of the purchasers. Regardless of whether there is unscrupulous activity taking place it does raise your suspicions of insider trading. WHO is buying and WHY now? In the absence of an adequate response to these questions its easy to see why 80% of investors perceive insider trading to be a problem in NZ.
