As a bit of a detour to this issue, I note that Amazon.com went down 19% last night on two bad reviews from respected analysts. The company is burning cash at an alarming rate, debt is mushrooming, and their convertible bonds are now being given the lowest of 'junk' ratings. There are even predictions (CNNfn) that the company may not make it through the coming US summer. I wonder what would happen to ASX and NZ techs (which have not recovered recently in line with NASDAQ) if Amazon.com went down. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.sharechat.co.nz/ New Zealand's home for market investors To remove yourself from this list, please use the form at http://www.sharechat.co.nz/forum.shtml.
