From the news, Downer won 25% of the bridge project in 14/05/1994. In 06/06/1994 BRY and ITC Construction Holding together bought 100% of Downer. In the agreement, BRY is responsible for any losses made in any Downer's project before the acquistion date. Downer made a lost of HK$192.8 milion from that project. BRY had refused to pay the loses and now the ITC Construction Holding is seeking HK$233 million in compensation which include interest cost.
