Yes, This would definately affect product costs and retail demand. This
would make the acquisition of Hill/Stewart and Farmers/Deka more attractive
wouldn,t it? They could then gain access to the F&P dealership (as per
Franks report) and effectively reduce exposure to $slide.The Farmers/Deka
rumours have been around over a year (see PRG Announcement 17/6/99.PRG,s
business still operates on very small margins and although improving are
very sensitive to Geoffs points of $ and interest hikes.It will be
interesting to see if the new management can sustain the recent return to
profitability with these adverse effects continuing.Lastly ,does anyone know
Blur.co.au pty ltd? I think it must have something to do with The Spot
merger with Flying Pig which PRG owns 40% through Orion Ventures
