If anyone doubted that NZ's effort to transform itself into a knowledge
economy is dead, doubt no more.  Did you see/hear Jim Anderton last
night on Assignment? He was asked whether NZ would be prepared to
encourage foreign firm's to set up here with incentives like Ireland
offered, eg tax breaks and so on. His response was no, foreign firms
will come here (without incentives) because NZ is one of the most
incorrupt countries about.
What a dreamer Jimmy boy, why da ya think Microsoft is under the blow
torch.............being nice?
