'Retreat back to 'value investing' Osbert! - well
I hope you have better fortune than me; apart from FEG and WHS, my value
shares are looking decidedly sick. Still long term I suppose...
Oh, I'm taking another pummelling on the FTSE at
the moment - it really has taken a fall. Will be interesting to see what Dow
and Nasdaq do in a few hours.
I'm really growing tired of this downward
traffic.

ITC - Encouraging to see it recovered well
today from yesterday's low of 21c. However, the continued selling by
institutions over the last few weeks has made me somewhat uneasy in the
short term. The big question: have we seen the bottom yet?
AQL - Be extremely cautious with this stock
unless you are the person in the know or have more money to loss. I have
nothing further to say about this stock
SPE - All the waiting and guessing are over for
this coy. The WEL deal is going ahead, the options and rights issues are
written in the book. However, the reaction from the market has been very
cautious. So what's next?
Given that the market volatility is much more
unpredictable than ever, I'm inclined to retreat back to value investing.
I'm trying not to worry what the US market may perform
overnight.
Kind regards,
Osbert
