Re: [sharechat] ITC - Virtual Spectator targets motor sports, golf...

IMHO   Virtual Spectator must be a winner as I am sure anyone following the America's Cup presentation will agree.  This is ' leading edge' technology.  I am still using a screen saver on one of my computers that I downloaded from their site - it is quite brilliant. They must have some very clever programmers. On the question of the share price for ITC I believe patience is the keyword, the price has slumped because of  the impatience of the traders, who look for some magical short-term results, and when the price adjusts downwards they start to panic and push it further down.
To me this is a speculative investment but I feel the potential is certainly there in the longer term.
I believe the V.S. concept has the capability to be used for many different sporting events.  I disagree with comments made a little while ago that it was OK for yachting but not for much else.  I think we will all be surprised with the eventual development.
And this is not the only  ' iron in the fire'  for ITC

Snippets from an article in the Otago Daily today.

Virtual Spectator director Ian Taylor flies to United States today seeking new business opportunities involving the firm's innovative motor sport graphics.
The multi media firm recently completed design of a tracking system used to create "photo-realistic" 3D animated coverage of the Queenstown Gold Rush Hill Climb held over Easter.
Animations of the hill climb appeared in a Television NZ documentary on Sunday night and will also appear on the world's
leading sports channel, ESPN, in America, Mr. Taylor said.
The TVNZ documentary had sparked many telephone inquiries to Virtual Spectator yesterday, including a call from Singapore, Mr. Taylor said in an interview........

Mr. Taylor said top drivers had been "amazed" at what the graphics had shown......

These graphics bring an entirely different dimension to the sport....

VS programmer created the animation in only a month.....

In the two months since the America,s Cup the firm had also developed a fully integrated Formula One racing graphics prototype (Mclaren and Ford F1 viewed it late April) and a "cutting edge" television golfing package.........

The full article is not up on the web yet check it out for yourself latter.

Regards Les.
