Must be worrying days ahead of PRG's Flying Pig. A new online retailing 
company (Buy.com which is part of America's second-largest e-tailer in the 
US) was launched on the market in Australia yesterday promising goods at 
discounts of up to 20per cent.

In terms of revenue, buy.com only trails Amazon.com. Buy.com's local chief 
executive, Richard Baillie, said the company differed from its competitors, 
as it had no warehousing or inventory costs, and the delivery of products 
was also contracted out.

"We link together those parties in a way that can remove those costs," he 
said.

While the local online site's offering focuses on electronic and computer 
goods, Mr Baillie said its range would expand to include books, CDs, videos 
and a travel site "as soon as I can do it".
