[sharechat] FFS -Small investors may not hang in

I can vouch too that the official word from FCL is
that FFS is still a long, long way to being sold. In
the case of Fletcher Paper, investors need to hang on
to their shares until August to reap the benefits.
With FFS, the wait would be longer as it will be at
least two to three months before the legal mess/due
diligence processes is cleared up/completed, and then
(with the paper deal as an example), there will
probably be another three-month wait before any deal
is finally settled.
Whilst the big institutional investors are probably
willing to wait that long, I seriously doubt whether
the smaller investor can afford to let their money lie
in the bottom drawer for that long (especially when
there are other quicker gains to be made on the
market).
I suspect there will be lots of profit-taking from
next week onwards as other opportunities present themselves.
