There are ways, but they all involve doing something like making the list 
'closed', so that you have to be subscribed to post, and also switching to 
a messy subscription confirmation system.

All of this would be a great inconvenience to our subscribers, but 
unfortunately the immature behaviour of a few means we may have little 
choice.  I am sure that 99% of those who use this forum would agree that it 
would be disappointing to have to cause so much difficulties..
