Here is one of the gloomier yet slightly amusing posts

Next Monday, I predict:

Thursday and Friday
of this week have shattered investor psychology like almost
never
before. However, people are still uncertain. The market could still
come
back. So here is what I predict what will happen on
Monday.

The market will be extremely volatile, and it's unlikely the
Nasdaq and Dow will
be in tandem with each other at all. Investors are
now losing hope, and will be
ready to semi-panic. At the start of
Monday, the selling will intensify right
from the start. The Nasdaq
will fall 250-400 right in the first hour or so,
looking like a panic
situation. Then, suddenly the Nasdaq will start
rebounding, and it will
keep rebounding, and it will keep rebounding... until
it's almost or
completely more than made up all of its 250-400 point losses for
the day,
confusing people yet giving them some sign of hope that a bottom
has
formed. It will stay up there in mildly positive territory, then
will slowly
start sinking again. And by the time 4 PM EST rolls around,
it will have
quietly settled back down around 100-250 points below the
open.

Then....

....Apocalypse Tuesday......

Investors at
this point will have lost all hope that the market will gain for
the rest of
time. The Elliott Wave top will have been nearly technically proven
to
have happened. Investors will see how hopeless it is....

The
Nasdaq... will steadily fall.... and fall..... no rallies... at any
time...
no rallies of more than 50 points at any time.... the Nasdaq will
slowly but
continuously sink.... 300... 400... 500.... 600.... 700... 800...
points. The
fall will be slow... and gradual, but it will be

relentless... it will not
end... There will be no jarring
movements. The investor sentiment will have
become utterly, completely,
depressed.... a calm hopelessness will pervade......
a new era will be
ushered in... nearly overnight... a darkness will engulf the
mainstream
psychology... changes in taste of music and art will be turned
upside
down.... people will decide that the stock market isn't the way to
make money
after all... they'll have realized they're cheating on earning
money... will
have come to an end. Cultural workplace changes will take
place. People will
slow down. Technology will become less
important. Technological development
will slow down... It will be
a mix of good and bad, and the opinions will vary
among individuals whether
what changes are good and what are bad, but it will be
dramatic, whatever the
changes and the perception of them....

.....and we'll settle into the 2nd
coming of the Great
Depression.............

truthseeker

I think I'll just go into the bathroom and slash my wrists after reading all that.
