It has been reported in today's Sunday Star Times that
Qantas is now seeking 40% of AirNZ and will establish
a New Zealand Trust to hold as many shares as
possible.
Lufthansa has also expressed interest in buying into
AirNZ. This perhaps explains the heavy buying in the
past couple of weeks. Not a pretty picture for the
small investor and I intend to bail out first thing
tomorrow while the price is still where it is.
