[sharechat] Takeovers Code

Hi all. I would love to hear your comments on a/the proposed takeovers code from a small shareholder perspective, from a trader's perspective, and from overseas investors. What do you all think about the general principle, if anything?

Reason I ask is that I'm intending to do a law&economics paper on the efficiency and equity of takeover law for my final LLM paper. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated! We could probably have a good debate on the topic too! My proposed starting point is whether or not the code will be a well-needed dose of amphetamines or euthanasia for our SE.
