Re: Re: [sharechat] beautydirect
Beauty Direct will not succeed but the promoters will. Oliver you are
right and this is why the net movement is moving from B2Comsumer to B2B.
This is because no-one in general in B2C seems to be able to make money.
I think however, the problem goes beyond potential competition into the
way people want to shop.
Perfume and especially jewelry are things that people prefer to go to a
shop, try on and enjoy the atmosphere etc.
As regards Telemedia, it is now trading at historical PE of over 700 and
forecast 140. It will never of course produce the earnings to justify
these levels but in this speculative frenzy no-one seems to care.
When the chickens come home to roost it is going to be catastophic. I
can't wait. The bargains in industrials are going to be great.
As regards Brian Gaynor he is usually a rare voice of reason. Reading
his comments on the nzherald site he points out key problems of the NZSE
float system - all correct and unique to the western world's top
insiders' market.
Statistic of interest this week: a massive monthly increase in
employee-shareholder tech stock sales in US.
Congratulations on the latest record current account deficit. When they
float a company growing bananas up Queen Street I'll be in.
Cheers from civilisation.
