Here's an amusing quote from Sandford's
site...
The sound of blue chips hitting the floor is an
invitation to throw money at them for many people. This sector of the market,
now derisively called the old economy, still forms the backbone of many trading
and investment portfolios. Many prices for stocks in these sectors look
attractive in the same way that the stern deck of the Titanic looked attractive
as the ship was sinking. It is more effective to be in a lifeboat than playing
upbeat tunes with the orchestra.
