Re: [sharechat] Savoy's /Wilson Neil /
Sometimes you buy small cheese because it tastes good and is packaged better
and maybe it is even selling at a good price. There is nothing wrong with a
company diversifying into other investments as long as the directors have a
sound strategy and have sound advice to back them. If we took the viewpoint
that every company should 'stick to it's knitting' so to speak we wouldn't
have a sharemarket and a lot of world economies would be in doldrums(maybe
the NZ problem). Lets commend Savoy Directors on trying to grow shareholder
wealth and let each individual decide on the pro's and con's of the
investment from the facts presented a long with constructive comment rather
than cynicism. If I remember correctly it wasn't so long ago that Wilson
Neil was trading at a price less than Savoy, so things do change and
somtimes quickly.
Happy trading to all tomorrow, I,m in the market for Savoy and Wilson Neil,
I think that both prices are relatively cheap at their present level and the
future is suddenly looking brighter for both companies.
Cheers Bret
