Thanks Michael, you're right it does sound easier. I'll keep my eyes
peeled on this one, I'm sure there will be competition from other brokers
soon with respect to trading Aust shares.

It usually comes out at around 0.15% for me, allowing for rounding - not
much to worry about in the face ot the high minimum brokerage charge
we pay from here.
Which leads me to ask: How easy is it to set up an Aust brokerage
account from here for a small non-trader like me? Is it worth the savings
in brokerage?
