May be easier than an off shore account with the hassle of transferring
funds and all.

It usually comes out at around 0.15% for me, allowing for rounding - not
much to worry about in the face ot the high minimum brokerage charge
we pay from here.

Which leads me to ask:  How easy is it to set up an Aust brokerage
account from here for a small non-trader like me?  Is it worth the savings
in brokerage?
