There's a really encouraging article in the Sunday Star Times today
(E1/E2).
I have been a sceptic on Spectrum in the past in spite of being a Spectrum
shareholder (historical accident) and I still doubt whether its net asset
per
share backing is anything like the price. But now John O'Hara has come in
from Voyager/WEL and is leading from the front and the dubious John Carr
has
disappeared from view it all seems to be go. John O'Hara actually knows
what
he is talking about rather than being a re-invented 1987 paper shuffler who
now
expects people to believe they are a switched on techie. He seems to have
the
contacts, the ideas, the energy but also to have a sharp focus rather than
if its
tech buy it. In fact he's giving a good impression of an NZ Wayne Bos
(Sausage
Software). Glad to see the assurance that in Spectrum anyway we're not all
being
taken for mugs in pre-trading.
