Quite agree and if you do get on to a ten bagger,
it does distort your portfolio balance.
I can easily accept that. I can also accept (as I
have done twice recently) the opportunity to clear all of the original cost by
selling part of the original buy.
I have been caught out three times in the last nine
months by NOT investing in a share that had already risen significantly and then
seeing it continue on unabated.
In the worst case, the share had risen by seven
times in the period Nov98/Apr99 and has since increased by a further factor of
35. One analyst has this share to double again by mid year.
