Osbert, You should be a psychologist and would probably be good at it. I noticed someone spending $150,000 today on Force shares (at $1.00 per share) which later finished up at 85c thus incurring a loss of $65,000 for the unlucky investor. If he was a former AQL investor who bought sometime ago at around the 16cps mark, he would have got rid of about 940,000 shares today. Now, all you need is about four people like him today and that would explain all this relinquishing of AQL shares, and the "buy at all costs" spree on Force. I am glad though that the Securities Commission is investigating a certain individual who made a $250,000 plunge on about 850,000 Force shares when they were still pretty low last week. However I expect the price to go down further tomorrow as the extremely lucky investors who bought at around 53c six months ago (in anticipation of a merger with Village Cinemas & Hoyts) cash up and collect their profits before it goes down further. Who knows, it could well be a 'reverse investment' tomorrow and in the hope of a similar return, all this ex-Force money could swing AQL's way tomorrow. One thing's for sure though, the impatient will fall by the wayside as far as AQL shares are concerned. The only day that I will sell up is when I see SSH disposal of shares notices posted to the NZSE by the likes of Eric Watson, Ken Wikeley, John Sorenson and the Tiong family whojointly own some 52% of AQL. In the meantime, like you Osbert, I will ride the wave - occasionally weaving, ducking but still staying on my AQL surfboard - because I believe this is the big one that won't be allowed to get away. See you at the shareholders meeting (You'll be there, won't you? Someone has to back Frank up!) Regards, Terry _______________________________________________________ Are you a Techie?
