Seems to be part of the confirmation of The Economist view that sooner or
later 
optic fibre will eat wireless internet.
I don't know of any listed fibre production, fibre laying opportunities in
NZ which is
probably a reflection of the small scale of the NZ economy and the extent
of overseas 
ownership freezing Kiwis out and the limited NZ capital market.
But it will be interesting to note any opportunities in Oz that develop.
