The recent speculation surrounding AQL, its share movements and really the
entire history of the company is an example of the state of play for the NZ
stockmarket investor. The feverish interest in AQL and the second guessing
of what may be going on - is in part; the result of some of the issues
raised in the recent 'Unlimited' magazine article re the state of the NZ
stockmarket for investors,  the role of its administrators and in particular
the total lack of quality up-to-date info for the small investor. Well worth
checking out if you haven't read it -

What will happen with AQL? Well it will probably take off on speculation
nearer to the meeting (if it doesn't get put off like everything else thats
ever been planned by AQL) and maybe something will be announced and maybe
something won't and most likely traders (and Watson's mates especially) will
make some $$$ but with so many shares on issue there will have to be plenty
of buyers to really bump the price -

And investor confidence in the NZ market? No improvement -

And on a cheerier note - great to see the N Americans taking an active role
in ITC which i feel is the biggest vote of confidence so far - this  really
is HUGE NEWS ! I wonder if investors will get as excited by this news as by
a 'shell' company adding a few more shares to the millions already on issue?
