Don't worry John, as a long term investor you won't be holding positions in
the companies which are subject to the current Internet and technology
craze, these are for traders.
I am reminded about the old joke about the spivs after the war who bought
and sold black market goods. When Sid complained to Harry that the tins of
beans he had bought from him were off, the response was "What do expect,
those were trading beans not eating beans!"

Nigel,
I also would be interested in people's opinion of what will happen
when the
" bubble bursts".
Possibly an increase in the value of the blue chip stocks as people
move
their money away from the tech stocks to the more secure stocks.
Or is everybody going to take their money and run.
For me, as a long term investor, I'm planning to sit and wait it
out.
