Paul, perhaps I missed something in the news. However, I can't find anything in the company's annoucements that AQL was to raise more funds through private placements of new issues. But it did. What does AQL want the extra funds for if it is to unload its aquarium business. Has it sought shareholders' approval for the recently announced placements? Unfortunately for small investors/traders, we are always the last ones to hear anything of significant importance in relation to share prices. The reality is, once the speculation becomes a fact (REALITY), the insiders/smart money are ready to make exit having gained handsome profits at the expenses of small investors/traders. Sure AQL will need to seek approval from shareholders for changing company's investment direction, but I don't think it will worry at all if I vote for or against any proposed resolution (for holding only a small number of shares). If AQL were to go into wireless, the priority would be, based on logic, to identify a potential takeover target before an announcement were made about its intention. At this stage it would only need AQL to announce that it is considering investing in the wireless (or any other IT technologies) to attract people buying into its shares. Having said the above, I do agree with you that there are a number of outstanding issues with regard to AQL, and that lots of smart money pouring into AQL for good reasons. Anyway, I enjoyed reading your posting and hearing your view on the subject.
