Amy:
Good picking: I woke up this morning to find out the news that AOL is
merging with Time Warner. The combined company will be worth US$350
billion. As I write this message Time Warner stock is up 53 per cent and
AOL up around 7 per cent.
This merger has propelled the Nasdaq up an incredible 129 points (3.3 per
cent) and the Dow has also jumped on the news.
I'm looking forward to our market here in New Zealand opening today!
Best Regards,
Benjamin Dutton
