Hi Brent:

Thanks for that. Have already contacted them and they were totally disinterested in my enquiry and told me non-resident aliens couldn't open accounts with them. Maybe I got the weak link in the company chain.

I don't mean to pry into your specifics but do you use them for private transactions in the US or are they more interested in larger company accounts? I'm wanting to find a broker who can invest my money in a US index fund and a couple of individual companies.

General comment: Recently read an article which forecast that by 2016 the Dow would be 40,000! Comments?
